Get some rest, they said.

Get some rest, they said.
(Paris - April 2007)

"Take it easy," they said.

And I said, "of course, I'm not running a marathon when I'm healthy, don't expect me to leave my room when I'm sick."

However, what I always overlook is that mental activity can be as tiring as physical activity, and I don't know how to shut that one down apart from sleeping (and even when sleeping...)

Yep. That fever from the other day. It's f'ing corona, it finally got me after five years. I'm not happy.

So, I'm resting at home, and while I'm not the kind of brainwashed person who thinks they need to be "productive" all the time, when I'm staying home, especially in a quiet space (because I'm quarantining from the rest of the family) my brain goes into creative mode, and it's not compatible with "resting." It can be as tiring as being physically active, especially when the infamous covid brain fog is trying to get me.

I'm not gonna lie, I'm terrorized it doesn't go away with the virus.

Anyway, I managed to get a little creative yesterday. Just a little. (see the picture above)

You know, if you're reading this, you really should subscribe to the thing. I feel like I'm talking to myself at the moment.
