Familiar Face

Of course, I know that the number of foreign tourists in Japan has reached crazy — and unsustainable — levels. But what really surprised me when I was at Haneda last Wednesday was seeing it with my eyes. I don't regularly visit Haneda – the last time was in 2023, and the time before that was around 10 years ago – but I was really surprised by the number of foreigners there. Japanese people seemed to be only a small minority of travelers.

However, there were still a few locals, as well as some familiar faces. One in particular:
